Movement is freedom. When pain, weakness, or balance challenges limit that freedom, daily life becomes harder than it should be.
MotionWorks Physical Therapy and Sports Medicine was created to help people in Lafayette, CO and surrounding communities including Louisville, Erie, Superior, Boulder, Niwot, Westminster, Broomfield and Gunbarrel, move with less pain, more confidence, and greater independence. Supporting better movement at every stage of life.
We provide one-on-one physical therapy focused on restoring movement, reducing pain, and building lasting strength. Our specialties include neurological rehabilitation, post-operative recovery, sports and performance rehab, and balance training for individuals of all ages. Every plan begins with a thorough evaluation of how your entire body moves so treatment is tailored to your specific needs. We combine hands-on care, progressive exercise, and clear education to help you move better now and stay strong long term.
This clinic is for people who refuse to settle for limitations. It is for those frustrated by lingering pain, discouraged by weakness, or worried about balance and safety. It is for active adults who want to return to skiing, biking, hiking, or sport without fear. It is for older adults who want to stay steady, strong, and independent. If you believe your body is capable of more, even if you are unsure how to get there, we are here to guide you with clarity, purpose, and a plan built around your goals.
Our mission is to create something bigger than just a clinic. We are building a culture where people come first and growth is encouraged. We help our community move with less pain and greater independence while delivering care rooted in integrity, professionalism, and long-term results.
Ryan Koelling founded MotionWorks Physical Therapy and Sports Medicine with a vision of building a clinic rooted in culture, integrity, and patient-centered care.
The practice began as a mobile clinic and evolved into a brick-and-mortar location to better serve the community and expand access to high-quality care. Ryan is passionate about neurological rehabilitation, balance training, and helping people regain confidence in their movement. His approach emphasizes thorough evaluations, individualized treatment planning, and clear communication so patients understand their progress and long-term path forward.
The goal has always been simple. Help people move better and build a clinic where both patients and future team members feel valued and supported.
